A Loaded Baked Potato {an easy peasy dinner inspiration}

How about loaded baked potatoes for dinner tonight? I've been craving salad and loaded baked potatoes lately. I had posted on this last year and I thought I'd share again since it's on our dinner table lots lately.

What you'll need:
  1. As many baking potatoes as you'll need for dinner
  2. Bacon
  3. Scallions
  4. Sour cream
  5. Grated cheddar cheese
  6. Butter
  7. Salt and pepper
  1. First, pre-heat your oven to 350*, then wash and pat dry your baking potatoes.
  2. Now, prick each potato with a fork about 8-10 times. Then place some oil in a bowl and massage those taters.

3.  Now you're ready to place them in the oven. Place them directly on the oven rack. Bake for one hour or until you can pierce them with a fork and they feel all squishy inside.

4. While those potatoes are  baking, prepare all the fresh toppings. Start by frying up some bacon nice and crispy. Do your darndest not to eat it all before the potatoes come out of the oven. Crumble the bacon, chop scallions and grate the cheddar cheese.

5. Now the fun part! Slice each potato down the center and place a generous pat of butter inside. Sprinkle some a whole lot of grated cheese, a dollop of sour cream, the crumbled bacon and a generous amount of scallions. Salt and pepper to taste.

Then stand back and behold the beauty of your creation. Mmmmmm, deliciousness!

These potatoes are sooooo yummy, and super easy to put together. They'll be a big hit at your dinner table. Enjoy Y'all!
