A New House And One Proud Mama!

Well, I'm officially old. Our oldest son just bought a house, and if my baby is old enough to own his own home, well then, that makes me officially old, ha. It's a beauty of a house, a precious, little, modest bungalow. We are so proud of him. He chose very wisely with this first house. It's a two bedroom, one bath house that's been lovingly cared for over the years. Check out this photo. 

See that ladder on the front porch? He had just closed on the house a few hours before, ran right to Lowe's to buy a ladder, and immediately went to work on projects. That's my boy! Most certainly the child of a crazy DIY'er! He changed out the lights on the front porch and was waving paint chip samples at me when I came by trying to decide on a front door color. It has the most beautiful old windows. I just love old windows, don't you? Such charm.

And the back of the property is very secluded and wonderfully private. There's even a little brook that runs along the property line.

Yep, I'm one very happy and proud mama! Hopefully he'll slow down on the re-do's so I can get some "before" pictures! Stay tuned folks.....
